Debate Week 2024 is open to anyone interested in learning Policy Debate.
You will learn everything you need to join LU Debate and compete with a winning team!
You will get free early move in to attend Debate Week and connect with the Debate coaches and current team members.
- Apply to Liberty University
- Get your Liberty username and LU ID#
- Complete the Debate Team online application form

New Debaters Welcome
You do not need previous policy debate experience to join our team. Many of our debaters come to Liberty with no high school debate experience and our coaching staff specializes in training new debaters.
You only need to be a full-time, residential undergraduate student who likes to learn in a competitive environment.
