Neon Mini Golf will feature a full 18-hole course and prizes

To kickstart the new semester, Student Activities will host an event to help students get back into the swing of things — Neon Mini Golf.

This event will be held Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. in the LaHaye Event Space. It is open to all students at no cost.

The evening will consist of 18 mini golf holes, fun lighting and an inviting atmosphere. Students will also have the chance to win prizes.

Neon Mini Golf was a huge hit last semester when students gathered on the Academic Lawn and enjoyed friendly competition. Student Activities staff knew that after its success and students’ excitement for the event, this had to be done again.

Like all events held by Student Activities, the staff hopes that Neon Mini Golf will be a chance for students to relax, have a good time with friends and provide an opportunity to connect with other students.

“If you are considering coming, I say do it,” Walker Sandler, Student Activities event supervisor, said. “You won’t regret your decision.”

Senior Dorothy Buck is a big fan of mini golf and thinks it will be a great way to have some fun.

“Events like this get you involved, and it’s a fun activity that you usually have to pay for,” Buck said.

Buck’s favorite Student Activities-hosted event during her time at Liberty has been 80s Bingo Night.

She especially appreciated this event because she loves bingo and was able to have a fun time with her friends, going all out and dressing up for the theme. Although she may not have won any prizes, Buck enjoyed the friendly competition.

Through events like Neon Mini Golf, Student Activities hopes students can escape the stresses of busy schedules, have a fun time, hang out with friends and relax for a night.

Student Activities will be hosting a variety of fun activities throughout the semester, including concerts, a laser tag tournament, late night ice skating and Coffeehouse.
