Liberty Alumna Shannon Bream Tops New York Times Best Seller List With New Book

Liberty Alumna Shannon Bream, a familiar face for Fox News viewers, recently etched a name for herself in the world of Christian authorship, landing in the number one New York Times bestseller spot this week for her book “The Women of the Bible Speak.”

Bream graduated from Liberty in 1993 with a degree in business and headed off to law school, but eventually left her job in the legal field to take an internship at a TV station, beginning a successful climb up the arduous ladder of broadcast news.

In a Q&A for career coaching site The Muse, Bream expressed that she is thankful for the drastic life-changes she made in her 20s, despite the years of hard work that followed.

“Luckily, I fell in love the minute I walked into the newsroom, and I’ve never gotten over that. It’s true that if you love what you do, it rarely feels like work,” Bream said to The Muse.

Bream currently serves as an anchor for a prime time show Fox News @ Night weeknights at 11 p.m. EST.

After publishing her memoir in 2019, Bream followed up with her newest release, “The Women of the Bible Speak: The Wisdom of 16 Women and Their Lessons for Today.” The book zooms in on the journeys of integral women in biblical history, offering valuable lessons for Christians today.

The book was published March 30 through Fox News Books in partnership with Harper Collins.
