CEO Summit To Be Held September 23-25

Hosted by Liberty University’s School of Business, the 2024 CEO Summit: Networking the Nations will be held on Sept. 23-25 at various locations on campus, including the Montview Student Union, DeMoss Hall and the School of Business.

This event enables students to connect and network with Fortune 500 chief executive officers, government leaders, innovators and influencers.

Many of the speakers include emerging Christian business people. However, this year the event was expanded to include doctors and lawyers.

Some of the speakers for this upcoming event include Steve Green, president of Hobby Lobby; Edward Graham, chief operating officer of Samaritan’s Purse; Jack Hollis, the COO and North America executive vice president of Toyota; and Eric Schimpf, the president and co-head of Merrill Wealth Management.

In addition to all of the speakers and business attendees, around 200 Liberty students will be volunteering and closely working with the CEOs.

A Future CEO Dinner will occur on Sept. 23, where students will be seated at a table with a CEO and be able to be mentored by the CEO.

Brat stated the majority of students who volunteered at the event in the past have received jobs or internships because of the networking and opportunities of the CEO Summit.

This year’s CEO Summit will feature breakout panels such as Rhythms of Change, Navigating the Legal Landscape, Value-Based Healthcare Reform and more. For more information about the event, visit http://www.liberty.edu/business/summits/ceo-summit.
