Flames in the pros: Vincent Kieran

Former Liberty University golfer Kieran Vincent just earned his ticket to the LIV Golf tour. Vincent played at Liberty from 2016-2022, winning multiple ASUN and Big South awards and aiding Liberty winning an ASUN Championship and advance to the NCAA National Championship.

In the 2020-2021 season, Vincent was outstanding, finding his way onto the Haskins Award Watch List, which is awarded to the national player of the year. He also received Liberty’s top athletic honor, the Rock Royer/Mac Rivera Award.

Fighting through multiple injuries during his time at Liberty, Vincent managed to become a multiple-time All-America Scholar and All-American. The Zimbabwe native made his professional debut in 2022 on the PGA Tour Canada at the age of 24. According to Sportskeeda, he joined the Asian Tour later in 2022 and recorded top 10 finishes in Morocco and Egypt, where he played alongside his brother, Scott.

While playing in Vietnam, Vincent acquired his first professional victory at the Vietnam International Series. With this victory, Vincent notched a spot in the second round of the inaugural LIV Golf promotions tournament. At the tournament, Vincent shot 5-under 67 and qualified for the next round, ending at 7-under-par. This exceptional round qualified him for a playoff, where he earned a spot on the LIV Golf tour alongside his brother. His first appearance in the LIV Golf tour will be at Mayakoba, Mexico on the El Camaleón Golf Course. Already achieving so much in his short time as a professional, Vincent is excelling and only getting better.
