Michael Knowles among over 25 conservative speakers at upcoming Freedom Center summit

The Standing for Freedom Center will host its second national conference, Standing for Freedom: Biblical Principles in a Woke World, Nov. 4-5. The event will feature over 25 speakers.
This two-day conference was put together by the Standing for Freedom Center to reach out to an audience who wants to learn, grow and defend biblical values in the public square.
Christian Lasval, social media coordinator for the Standing for Freedom Center, said that the Standing for Freedom national conference presents an overarching theme with the hopes to educate and support a Christian audience that may feel confused, alone and overpowered by the world around them.

“Sometimes it can feel like you’re alone, or you don’t have enough support around you,” Lasval said. “This is our annual rallying cry to reach out to our audience and hear from people who are actively involved in politics and culture in their regular daily lives.”
The speakers include bestselling author and host of the Relatable podcast Allie Beth Stuckey; host of The Liz Wheeler Show Liz Wheeler; and North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson.
Lasval also said that every speaker has his or her own area of expertise, including life, the education system, politics, physical responsibilities or American history.
Each speaker was specifically chosen to help address the most pressing topics on the minds of Christians and many Americans.
This conference will also feature attorneys and clients who are currently in legal battles for the religious freedom of America.
For example, Joe Kennedy, a former Marine and high school football coach, was chosen to speak.
Kennedy was fired for saying a 10-second prayer after football games, and he won a Supreme Court case concerning religion and the First Amendment.

“You can try and avoid politics, but politics will not avoid you,” Lasval said. “It will affect you whether you choose to be a part of it or not.”
Standing For Freedom: Biblical Principles in a Woke World offers its audience a firsthand experience hearing speakers share their thoughts about the importance of biblical values today.
“It’s important to be educated on values and how those values impact policy, and I think that there’s incredible speakers that are coming that are well-educated on matters that are most important in today’s society,” student Britton Miller said. “Learning how to defend our freedom is really important as Americans and especially as believers so that we can be the light in the darkness.”
The cost for students is $10, which includes a free lunch and entry into the raffle for a chance to win one of four prizes that total over $2,000 in value.
“Come to the summit because you are going to leave motivated and educated with information and biblically-grounded advice and truth that you can take into the public sphere in your respective career,” Lasval said. “You are not going to get this value anywhere else, so don’t miss this opportunity.”
