Director of the Center for Church Advancement
Dr. Chris Dowd serves as the Director of the Center for Church Advancement and the Director of Church Planting here at Liberty University. He also serves as adjunct faculty for the John W. Rawlings School of Divinity and Liberty Theological Seminary. His research and writing interests include Church Planting, Church Ministry, and Practical Theology, which fuels his passion for the local church. He is a teaching elder at Bedrock Church in Forest, VA, where he leads the teaching team and their network of church plants. He is married to his beautiful wife, Jessie, and has two children: Andrew and Jonathan.
