Mobilization
Training champions for Christ, who champion churches, who champion the Kingdom
As a part of its mission to advance the local church, the Center for Church Advancement is mobilizing LU Students to come alongside churches on their quest to fulfill the Great Commission. LU Students who are interested in Church Planting or Revitalization can be mobilized to churches locally, regionally, and nationally. If you are interested in joining the Center for Church Advancement, you can complete our Interest Form or email us at churchadvancement@liberty.edu.
LU Students can be mobilized locally to come alongside churches in the Lynchburg Area (within a 50-mile radius of Liberty’s campus).
Under the guidance of a pastor(s) or church planter(s), students will work with church members as they seek to spread the Gospel in the city of Lynchburg.
Examples of ministry opportunities include mapping communities, relationship building, evangelism, discipleship, prayer, leadership, event hosting, etc.
LU Students can be mobilized regionally throughout the state of Virginia (outside of the 50-mile radius of Liberty’s campus).
Under the guidance of a pastor(s) or church planter(s), students can work with church members as they seek to spread the Gospel in a regional community in Virginia.

LU Students can be mobilized nationally in partnership with the North American Mission Board (NAMB) through GenSend Summer.
