Deep Hollow Half Marathon & 5K

The Deep Hollow Half Marathon & 5K is the premier trail race in the Liberty Mountain Trail Series and is a fun-filled homecoming weekend tradition at Liberty University. The Half Marathon is comprised of primarily a single-track trail intermixed with some forest roads. The 5K course is an out-and-back course on a forest road.

Valley View Mike Donahue 5-Miler

The Valley View 5-Miler is a partnership with the Liberty University Military Affairs department to show all our support to those who serve. In memory of Major Mike Donahue, the event is specifically meant to honor and remember this man who made such a positive impact in the community and at Liberty University. Join us for the special pre-race ceremonies meant to honor all those who have lost their lives serving our nation.

Reindeer Run 2-Miler

The Reindeer Run 2 Mile Trail Race is the 3rd trail race in the Liberty Mountain Trail Series. This family fun run is comprised of an out and back on forest roads and has a special holiday theme! We encourage all runners to dress up in the spirit of the season and join us for cookies, cocoa, and treats after the race!

Arctic 5K

The Arctic 5K Trail Race is the 4th trail race in the Liberty Mountain Trail Series. The course is comprised of a single-track trail intermixed with some forest roads. This 5k is a great challenge and sure to be full of ice, sweat, and tears.

King of the Mountain

The King of The Mountain course is a single-track, one-mile course straight up Liberty Mountain. The race will start at Snowflex following Falwell Road, and the finish will be located at the very top of Snowflex. With 1,000 feet of elevation change, it will be sure to get your blood pumping! What a way to finish the Liberty Mountain Trail Series!

Celebrate Liberty 7.1K

Campus Recreation and Alumni Relations are proud to present the first ever “Celebrate Liberty 7.1k”! We are excited to embark on a new tradition of celebrating Liberty University and the liberty granted to us by our great nation. We hope that the Liberty family, past and present, will come together as Champions during this week-long event.
This race is composed of two event opportunities, so that wherever you are, you will be able to come together and celebrate with Flames Nation this 4^th of July!

1. Celebrate Liberty @ Liberty Mountain | This is a fixed distance challenge (7.1k) that is marked on the Liberty University Liberty Mountain Trail System.

DISTANCE | 7.1 K
This event will incorporate the RaceJoy app and it will create an interactive race day experience. Using RaceJoy will provide you:

- A unique and interactive race day experience!
- GPS tracking of your progress. Complete with progress alerts, off-course alerts and an interactive course map!
- A custom audio experience featuring announcements and encouragements from our team!
- Remote spectator cheer sending!
- Automatic result upload and live updates!

Make sure to complete your free RaceJoy registration so that your progress and results data can be automatically submitted from the app. After registering, you will be issued a bib number that you will need for your setup in RaceJoy in order to have your data submitted from the app (otherwise you can manually submit your finish time).

2. Celebrate Liberty Anywhere | Complete a 7.1K distance from any location. To be completed in a single session. You can redo your distance as many times as you wish.
