The Campus Recreation Aquatics staff is ready, willing, and able to provide high-level instruction and training to you today! Our team of certified instructors offers a variety of lessons and certification courses to help meet your swimming goals. Read more about our programming below.
Private & Partner Swim Lessons
Private & Partner Swim Lessons are designed to provide swim training opportunities for adults to grow in their swimming technique, strength, and endurance. These lessons also offer swim lessons to children of students, faculty, and staff. Each Swim Instructor is a certified Water Safety Instructor and tailors your swim program to fit your needs! We provide a variety of packages to ensure your goals are met!

Summer Swim Lessons

Over the summer, Campus Recreation is offering three 2 week sessions of summer swim lessons (Monday through Thursday for two consecutive weeks). Each week offers 4 different session options depending on the age and ability level of your child.

Lifeguard Certification Courses
The American Red Cross Lifeguard Class is open to the Liberty University and local Lynchburg communities. LaHaye Rec & Fit offers multiple Lifeguard Certification Courses per semester and Lifeguard Re-Certification Courses upon request.
