What is BRI?
Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI) is an investment strategy that aligns financial decisions with biblical principles and values. It involves selecting investments that support ethical practices and avoiding those that are inconsistent with Christian teachings. 1. Screening Criteria: Investments are screened based on their alignment with biblical values, which may include avoiding industries like abortion, gambling, & pornography.
2. Positive Impact: BRI seeks to invest in companies that promote social justice, environmental stewardship, and ethical business practices, reflecting values such as compassion, stewardship, and integrity.
3. Stewardship: Investors are seen as stewards of their resources, responsible for using their money in ways that honor God and contribute positively to society.
4. Community and Global Impact: BRI may focus on investing in companies that support community development, uphold human dignity, and contribute to the common good.
