Residential Sport Management: Tourism Program

Get started in the tourism and hospitality industry with a Master of Science in Sport Management: Tourism degree.

Courses within the Tourism cognate allow you to turn your passion for administration,  travel, and tourism into a career. Through real-world and practical experiences you’ll gain the expertise needed to successfully navigate business, ethics, marketing, legal issues, and more on all sides of the industry. Prepare to lead in your career as you manage travel agencies, administer operations at theme parks and resorts, arrange corporate trips, and more.

Take advantage of our partnerships with the Fairfield Inn and other hospitality-related properties to tackle first-hand managing events, tourism,  lodging, and other hospitality-related fields. You’ll participate in an internship that will help you gain a competitive edge in the growing tourism industry.

The non-thesis/internship track gives you the opportunity to gain experience in the hospitality industry and build a professional network. Students who opt for the thesis track are looking to continue their education with a doctoral degree. The thesis can serve as the initial step toward the development of an individual research agenda.

Learn from experienced professors who grounded in their faith and are committed to teaching you from a Christian worldview.

This degree is offered through the Hospitality & Sport Management Department.
