Biography

Robert Tucker is an Associate Professor of Computer Science in the School of Engineering at Liberty University. He received his BS in Computer Science and his MS in Industrial Engineering [Operations Research] from Mississippi State University. His Ph.D. is in Instructional Technology from George Mason University.

His academic interests include information security, software engineering, web services and programming, as well as database technologies. Before coming to Liberty he taught for nine years in the Computer Science graduate program at James Madison University.

Prior to teaching, he spent 25 years in the intelligence community working primarily in software engineering and database implementation.
