Biography

Dr. Sharon Todd is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC, Kentucky), board-approved supervisor (Kentucky), and National Certified Counselor (NCC). She is also certified in Choice Theory and Reality Therapy (CT/RTC) and is in the final phase of obtaining certification as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). She has nearly 16 years of experience as a counselor, ranging from the public school setting, where she was a school counselor and district mental health counselor, to the private practice sector where she specializes in working with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. Her areas of focus include play therapy, trauma, human trafficking, the impact of pornography on young minds, religious integrated practices, as well as nurturing creativity when teaching adult learners. She is also a published author. Dr. Todd considers herself to be a lifelong learner and is grateful for the opportunity to help others in the classroom and clinical setting.
