Biography
Dr. McKenna is a licensed professional counselor/board-approved clinical supervisor in the state of Texas. She earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology and a doctorate degree in psychology (2003), both from Florida International University in Miami, FL. She also has a certificate in Higher Education Leadership and Administration from Capella University (2016). Her counseling career has included practice in university, community group, and private practice settings working with children, families, couples, and individuals. Her clinical focus, broadly speaking, is to help others navigate difficult life experiences and heal from relational pain.
