Biography

Dr. Keny Felix is an associate professor with more than 12 years of experience as a licensed professional counselor and counselor educator. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Economics and his Master of Science in Education at the University of Miami. He holds a Master of Divinity in Psychology and Counseling, Master of Theology, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology and Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is an ordained minister and has served the local church in various roles through the years. He is a Georgia licensed professional counselor and certified professional counselor supervisor. He is also a licensed mental health counselor and qualified supervisor in the state of Florida, where he maintains a limited clinical practice today, providing counseling services to individuals, couples and families. Dr. Felix is a member of the American Counseling Association, Christian Association for Psychological Studies and the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia. He actively presents at state and national conferences.
