Biography

Dr. Jennifer Gobble is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia, a national certified counselor (NCC), an approved counselor supervisor (ACS) in the state of Virginia, and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. Dr. Gobble has provided outpatient therapy and residency supervision privately through Support Systems, Inc. since 2010. Her private practice focuses primarily on the treatment of adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, panic disorder, family and marital issues and anger/aggression management. Dr. Gobble utilizes CBT and person centered therapy in her approach to counseling and is passionate about helping others to live their best life. A guiding verse for her path has been Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Prior to joining Liberty University faculty, Dr. Gobble was the CEO and owner of Support Systems, Inc. which provides counseling, substance abuse services, community based mental health services and crisis services in Roanoke, VA and surrounding areas. Dr. Gobble also founded and continues to serve on the board of Project Support, Inc., a non-profit organization providing support and assistance to individuals and families with mental illness.
