Biography

Deborah Braboy is an Assistant Professor in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She enjoys being a counselor educator and mentoring new counselors. She is an LPC-S in Arkansas and Oklahoma and owns a private counseling practice. Her clinical expertise includes growing a thriving private practice, working with clients primarily with grief/loss and trauma issues by using EMDR, depression, and working with couples. She has been a licensed counselor in multiple settings. Dr. Braboy is trained in EFT and enjoys helping couples identify their pursuer/withdrawer “dance” and explore the attachment interaction in their relationship. She is Certified in EMDR which has been so instrumental in working with physician clients and first responders.

Dr. Braboy currently serves as a Chapter Faculty Advisor (CFA) for the Chi Sigma Iota Rho Eta online student chapter Rho Eta Sigma.
