Biography

Dr. Bellah Kiteki currently serves as a core faculty member for the Department of Counselor Education and Family Studies at Liberty University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Illinois and Ohio and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). As a counselor she has worked with adolescent and adult clients presenting with substance use/abuse addictions, ADHD, depression and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and life transitions. Over the last twelve years, she has been passionate about refugee mental health. She has been actively involved in volunteer work in some capacity (e.g., translation services and group work) through refugee resettlement agencies serving refugee populations during resettlement in the United States. She presents regularly at regional, national, and international conferences on the topics of refugee mental health and resilience, group work, and clinical supervision.
