Biography

Professionally, Dr. Fellows has served in many roles. In education, she has worked as a middle school English and Language Arts teacher, an elementary and high school counselor, a girl’s basketball and track coach, and as a professor for several universities. Some of her other roles include being a supervisor to school counselors and clinical mental health counselors, an author, and a professional editor.

Dr. Fellows’ clinical and research interests include imposter phenomenon in novice counselor educators, neurodivergent counselor educators, social justice advocacy and school counseling, spirituality and school counseling, and school counselor educator professional identity development. However, her God-given passion is educating and mentoring future counselors by coming alongside her students to help them in their journey of doing “the good things He planned for [them] long ago” (Ephesians 2:10, NLT).
