Biography

Dr. Timothy Sprano taught Mathematics at Liberty University after having received his Masters at Virginia Tech, focusing on general education Math and Statistics classes. He went on to get his Ph.D. and teach at the University of Idaho and Francis Marion University. He then transitioned back to Liberty teaching Math majors having a specialty in Abstract Algebra.

Dr. Sprano currently serves as an associate professor of Mathematics at Liberty University and is the Calculus I subject matter expert. He enjoys interacting with a younger generation, encouraging them to see the beauty and logic of Mathematics with a passion for effecting a change in the way Math, especially algebra, is taught in schools.
