Kim Cashman

Biography
Prior to coming to Liberty University, Kim Cashman taught fashion courses at Albright College in Reading, PA. She then moved to Connecticut where she worked for 7 years in training, demonstrating, and software testing at Gerber Garment Technology, a manufacturer of CAD/CAM/CMS equipment for the apparel and sewn goods industry. After moving to Virginia, she taught Design and Construction I for Apparel as an adjunct at LU then transitioned to Liberty University Online for 3 ½ years. Kim is currently a full-time assistant professor and program director for the Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising programs at LU, also serving as an academic advisor for all upper-level fashion students. Other roles include faculty advisor for the student club, Fashion Design and Merchandising Association, faculty advisor for the annual spring FACS Fashion Show, advisor for the bi-annual University of New York Fashion Week competition, and coordinator for the Haute Couture Designer Gown and Art Exhibition in DeMoss Hall.
