Tim Neptune embarked on an exciting journey by launching Venture Church Naples, a non-denominational church in the rapidly expanding area of Southwest Florida. Seeking to serve their local community, the church has seen incredible growth. Most recently, the church broke ground in August for a new 52,000-square-foot church campus. Furthermore, in October 2023, Tim took another significant step in community outreach by founding Venture Cares, a unique mobile food market designed to combat food insecurity. This single-aisle grocery store on wheels now feeds nearly 1,000 people each month, making a tangible difference in the lives of those struggling in the community.

Tim’s commitment to ministry expanded on a global scale in 2013 with the founding of Leadership Outreach. This initiative aims to equip and train pastors and church leaders in hard-to-reach areas worldwide. Today, Leadership Outreach is proud to train over 2,200 students across more than 100 training centers in 20 different countries.

One of Tim’s fondest memories from Liberty University (LU) is attending a home football game and inviting the girl next to him, Karen Leary (’92), on a date after the game. That moment sparked a relationship that has lasted over 32 years, resulting in four children and six grandchildren. While Tim values the academic education he received at LU, he deeply appreciates the godly example of faith demonstrated by Dr. Falwell Sr. and the faculty members at Liberty University. Despite the financial challenges LU faced during those years, Dr. Falwell’s unwavering faith and commitment to his vision for the university left a lasting impact on Tim and Karen.

Since their graduation in 1992, Tim and Karen have been honored to serve in full-time pastoral ministry. They strive to walk by faith and continue the legacy of Training Champions for Christ. It is a profound honor to be called by God to serve in His Kingdom, and they endeavor to glorify Him in all that they do.

Life will undoubtedly throw you some curveballs, and the temptation to give up can be strong. Tim’s advice is simple: don’t quit. If God has given you a dream or a vision, pursue it with all your might. Resist the temptation to walk away and trust in His plan for your life.

This spotlight highlights the incredible journey and unwavering faith of Tim Neptune, showcasing his dedication to serving both his local community and the global church.
